You know, I’ve spent a lot of my time recently feeling sorry for myself. And I don’t even really know why. I mean, I’ve got it pretty good. Scratch that. I’ve got it GREAT. But sometimes I get lost in the muck and my vision gets blurry and I can’t see through the fog.
Until life comes around and junk punches me. Right in the man sack.
Yesterday was one of those days.
It’s all becoming very clear again.
Something has happened. Our fearless leader and founder of Aiming Low, Anissa, has had a stroke. She is in ICU and that’s all we know.
Get well soon, sweet friend
And I’m dying on the inside.
I feel completely and utterly helpless. There’s nothing to do but wait. And pray.
Please say a prayer for my friend.
I can’t even believe this is really happening.

The shock is astounding. Thanks for this post. You are amazing, and I love you!
Love you, Shauna Glenn.
Anissa is a lucky girl to have to much love surrounding her.
xoxo
I’m so sorry. Praying for your friend…
If wishing can make it happen, she is going to be back up and sassing us all any day!
Very sorry to hear that. It’s so hard when things like this happen so suddenly. Our best to her and hers.
We can’t help but wonder what’s in store for us.
Carpe diem.
You have a warm and wonderful heart, Shauna. Praying for Anissa this morning.
It’s amazing the things that make us rise above our own fog – if only we could do so w/out such astounding events. Can not believe Anissa and her family have to go through this, but I’m very glad I’ve met her and hugged her and that she has such an ARMY behind her.
Consider prayer said and delivered.

Oh, that’s horrible! Sending white light and prayers her way…
You know, John had a stroke two years ago for no reason whatsoever. He was 30 years old, in great health, had a great diet, didn’t smoke, drink, etc.. They kept him in the hospital for days and ran every test in the world trying to figure it out. They finally decided it was related to a migraine, and let him out with a prescription headache medicine, totally recovered. He’s been fine ever since.
All this to say, try not to worry too much.
We will pray for your friend.
Thanks Shana.
Unfortunately this is very serious. That’s all I can say right now.
Please keep her in your thoughts.
I’m sorry Shauna. I just clicked over to aiming low. I didn’t realize. Thinking of you.
I’m praying for your friend. I hope she gets well soon!
You pray?
Only in extreme emergencies like this one. Not when I need it to rain or the Cowboys to win.
Consider it done. I am so sorry for your friend! Hugs to you, too to help with your worry.
Praying so hard! Have only had the pleasure of knowing her work for a short time. Think she is awesome!
I can feel all of the love everyone has for her and it’s wonderful!
P.S. Please delete #352 I screwed up.
Punched. Totally know the feeling.
All we keep doing is praying and she knows it! xo
Love you.
