every year we go to rosemary beach and look at the “tree houses” that have been crafted by local builders to auction off for charity. this year has not been disappointing. tommy always gives the kids the “don’t ask me to get you one” speech, but it never works. the worst of the kids? ME! these kids playhouses go from $3000-$15,000. and then you still have to figure out how to get it to your house.

Those are so cool! I love number one, but I bet my kids would like the rocket. Can they try them out, are they to look at ONLY?
Those houses are so cool! How WOULD you take one home with you?
My favorite is the house with a face. Kind of spooky looking.
How cool is that?!
I’m with girl from Lubbock–can you go in them?
My favorite is the one with the octopus. But the surfboard one is cool too.
What a great idea to make a fort using different aluminum cans! I never would have thought of that.
Thanks for sharing.
Have fun.
I can just see you and Tommy and all 4 kids driving back through FL, AL, MS, LA and TX pulling a big ass trailer with a giant fish tree house made of aluminum cans on it. I would chip in just to watch you try to maneuver that bad boy through the neighborhood.
Those are awesome but I have lived in structures that cost less then that. Get some boards and a few tools and build some sort of a place with your kids. It probably will not look like those ones but you will have so much fun that it will not matter. The kids will remember it forever….
